Welcome!
Welcome to my site! It's a WIP but this is a site to store my personal research on pet inverts and their morphs and other insect love! I work on this between college and work so be patient!
ALL IMAGES ARE DRAWN BY ME UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE

Isopods
* Needs more info
NMI (Needs more info) Is used when a morph is unstable or has little documentation, in some cases * can also signify a morph could actually be a separate species (I.e Cubaris sp.)
porcellio scaber

Some morphs may not appear here if they are not distinct enough from other morphs, see *NMI section above.

The key difference between k0i and Dalmatian is the larger splotches and minimal dotting on kois as compared to Dalmatians minimal patches and high spots.Calico and lava isopods may appear similar in culture but their patterns differ greatly in terms of genetics, Calico's patterns are caused by sex-determined genes meaning only females have the mottled patterns, while males are more dark in coloration. In contrast, lava scabers patterns are determined by codominant genes found in both sexes. They also have more splotches and less mottled pattern.
This site goes into better detail on the matter of scaber genetics.
Porcellionides Pruinosus
Cubaris
Because many cubaris species lack proper scientific classification,
no specimen sp. names will be mentioned.

Armadillidium Vulgare
Armadillidium (Other)
Millipedes
Hissing Roaches
Species of hissing roaches can be near-impossible to ID from eachother at times, it's best to know what you're buying, as alot of blood lines aren't pure either.
